3. Acquisition: a plan specifies a wait before prompting. Follow the wait and hierarchy rather than adding a prompt.
4. Reduction: a new safety event is outside the written plan. Follow existing safety direction and contact the responsible professional.
5. Documentation: a draft note says the learner was “noncompliant.” Replace the label with observable actions, context, and response.
6. Ethics: a person requests a recognizable client story for a public post. Protect confidentiality and use an approved professional channel.

After each decision, change the setting, response definition, prompt, time period, or communication route. Explain what stayed constant and what changed. That transfer step is the difference between highlighting a concept and using it.

Turn annotations into a correction log

Do not let a printed guide become a collection of green checkmarks. For every missed, guessed, or low-confidence correct answer, write:

• Fact: what the scenario directly states, shows, counts, or times.
• Decision: your selected action and confidence.
• Distractor: the inference, plan change, scope error, or privacy problem in the weaker choice.
• Correction: one sentence explaining why the stronger action fits.
